Getting published (and holding onto your art)

The 'Getting Published' seminars at NSW Writers Centre produced much food for thought. Most impressive was Pat Grant, graphic novelist, who provided a timely reminder that most writers in Australia don't make a living from it — so remember it's  your (our) creative practice. One vote for keeping hold of artistic ambitions in the face of pressure to publish.Anna Maguire was excellent on digital publishing: I'm now an iBooks Author tragic.
